Responsibilities

Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types
Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope
Support development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client’s project and strategic goals
Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration
Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures
Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of cost information
Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals

Qualification

Cost estimating experienceHealthcare project experienceOn-Screen Takeoff (OST)Construction document interpretationMicrosoft ExcelBachelor’s degree in constructionCommunication skills

Required

A minimum of 10 years of experience as a cost estimating professional (ideally in a consulting environment), including conceptual estimating, takeoffs, change order review/reconciliation, and value engineering; prior mechanical trade experience required
Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Prior healthcare estimating experience highly desired
Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred
A bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred
