They are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to manage a busy caseload, collaborate with a team, and contribute to the federal litigation practice.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of commercial litigation caseload, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
Represent clients in court — including hearings, conferences, and trials
Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with client goals
Advise institutional clients on case risks, resolutions, and regulatory considerations
Maintain compliance with all federal, local, and judge-specific rules
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistency and high-quality client representation

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience

Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
Experience in creditors' rights or financial services litigation is a plus
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence

Preferred

Admission to multiple federal courts
Background in banking, consumer finance, or regulatory compliance
Experience coordinating multi-state litigation
