Responsibilities
Observe how to manage a team of Warehouse associates overseeing proper product inventory, staging, rotation, breakdown, replenishment, returns, order fulfillment, and quality control. Work with the team as necessary to meet nightly goals
Observe management training, develop, evaluate, and motivate the team to foster the success of individual contributors and overall team success
Assist management with assigning work and projects as needed, shift labor as needed
Assist management with overseeing the team, ensuring the safe performance of all duties
Observe management holding regular team meetings
Additional duties may apply depending on the area of responsibility in the Warehouse
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years or older
High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required
Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college as a rising senior
Valid driver's license for applicable state
Must have reliable transportation to and from work on a daily basis
Able to secure and maintain auto liability insurance for applicable state
Must have strong leadership, motivation, and persuasive communication skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment to handle a variety of duties; prioritize
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Efficient time management skills
Strong computer knowledge and skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Patience, flexibility, and ability to adapt to complicated and stressful situations
Able to maintain very high proficiency and job standards while working in a non-temperature controlled environment that includes exposure to heat, high humidity, and inclement weather
Able to work occasionally in refrigerated areas
Able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels and some dust and fumes from power equipment
Regular, reliable attendance required
Able to frequently operate a pallet jack and/or forklift
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift and carry, push and pull, bend and stoop, reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel
Able to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Able to stack, unstack and relocate large amounts of product throughout the work period
Able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50-65 lbs, with some overhead lifting required
Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to judge distance
