Responsibilities

Teaching and sharing practical experience through graduate and undergraduate courses in all areas of Civil Engineering

Documenting excellent preparation in Civil Engineering along with current experience in the industry

Proficiency in online teaching strategies

Interacting and working effectively with a wide and culturally diverse student population

Qualification

Master's degree in Civil EngineeringTeaching experience at university levelOnline teachingPE licenseCertificationWork with diverse populations

Required

A Master's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of work experience in Civil Engineering or related field

Able to document candidate's excellent preparation in Civil Engineering along with current experience in the industry

Proficiency in online teaching strategies

Candidates should have prior teaching experience at the university level

Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse student population, including first-generation college students

Preferred

A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field

A PE or other appropriate license/certification to teach design courses

Preference will be given to those with significant teaching experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment

Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities
