Graduate Student Testing Assistant - Student Access Center
The Center for Public Partnerships & Research is seeking a Graduate Student Testing Assistant to support the Testing Coordinator in administering exams for KU students. The role involves coordinating academic testing, providing accommodations for students with disabilities, and assisting with accessible print production.

Responsibilities
Assist full-time Testing Center staff in coordinating academic testing, including providing accommodations for KU students with disabilities by proctoring accommodated exams
Other duties related to testing can include: Printing exams for students, Scanning exams for return to instructors, Scanning test cover sheets for electronic filing, Undergoing training for providing accommodations, Frequent correspondence with faculty, staff, students, and multiple academic departments on campus
Assist SAC professional staff in accessible print production including the scanning and conversion of print-based materials into accessible formats
Represent Student Access Center at information tables or other orientation events
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled KU Graduate student
Experience using common office technologies as demonstrated by previous work experience
Preferred
Strong interest in working with students with disabilities as evidenced by cover letter
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication skills as demonstrated by the interview
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Access and Excel, and Adobe products as demonstrated in the application materials
