Gold's Gym is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Equipment Technician who loves fitness. The role involves maintaining fitness equipment to ensure it meets Gold's Gym standards and performing preventative maintenance and repairs across various gyms.

Responsibilities

Visit assigned clubs according to a weekly schedule to perform preventative maintenance on our fitness equipment
Perform routine inspections to ensure the condition of equipment is kept to our Gold's Gym standard
Perform repairs on our fitness equipment
Create, update, and complete work orders that document your equipment diagnosis, parts orders, maintenance, and repair actions in our computerized maintenance management system
Purchase needed parts through our approved vendors
Perform all other non-maintenance duties as needed or provided by your manager

Required

Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Loves fitness
Hands on and energetic team player
Comfortable working around the clang of a barbell during operating hours
Ability to perform preventative maintenance on fitness equipment
Ability to perform routine inspections to ensure equipment condition
Ability to perform repairs on fitness equipment
Ability to create, update, and complete work orders in a computerized maintenance management system
Ability to purchase needed parts through approved vendors
Ability to perform all other non-maintenance duties as needed or provided by manager
