The Staff Structural Engineer will join the Transportation Structures team to design and draft plans for various transportation structures, ensuring quality and accuracy in all deliverables.

Responsibilities
Designing and drafting structural plans for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation structures
Turning sketches or verbal concepts into accurate, high-quality drawings
Running structural analyses using industry-standard software
Preparing quantities, cost estimates, and construction-ready deliverables
Participating in design meetings with engineers and clients to align on project goals
Visiting project sites to understand field conditions and support construction coordination
Managing tasks efficiently with guidance from experienced engineers
Reviewing your own work—and supporting CADD Technicians—to ensure quality and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Proficiency with standard office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
Required CADD experience
Preferred
EIT certification preferred
Familiarity with MicroStation, OpenBridge Designer, or OpenRoads Designer preferred
Experience with 3D structural modeling is a plus
