Responsibilities
Work autonomously while balancing design quality within technical constraints and business requirements
Engage with our partner and end users a to understand their needs and design experiences that guide them through onboarding, education, troubleshooting and understanding eero products and services
Use customer research, wire-framing, rapid prototyping, and usability testing to invent and validate designs
Consume, improve, and contribute to the eero design library; develop and maintain design documentation for shared patterns and components
Influence and collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Brand, and Marketing
Work closely with other designers to gather feedback, build consistency, and critique each other’s designs; encourage team members to learn and grow skills
Qualification
Required
Have an available online portfolio
7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
Preferred
Experience with hands-on visual design
Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
Experience with UX design of complex workflows
Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
Highly proficient in a variety of design tools (Figma, Rive, Spline, Adobe CC, etc)
