Responsibilities

Provide classroom and laboratory instruction to students
Prepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activities
Develop and prepare supplement materials to enhance textbook lessons
Develop and prepare tests to evaluate student performance; grade record individual scores
Provide classroom demonstrations pertaining to designated course being taught
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Maintain and submit all required paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely fashion, including but not limited to: class rosters, registration forms, pay sheets, attendance forms and grade rosters
Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to required teaching area and in accordance with CFCC policies and guidelines
Assess the relevancy and impact of various lessons and recommend improvements as needed
Oversee and participate in field studies and assignments; travel with students to provide assistance and instruction as appropriate
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of classroom and laboratory instructional techniques and procedures
Knowledge of principles and procedures of academic and instructional techniques and procedures
Knowledge of current trends, research and development in the area of assignment
Knowledge of principles and techniques involved in test development and administration
Knowledge of MS Office and current computer technology and trends
Ability to work days or evenings as required
Ability to work at 2 or more of CFCC's 4 campuses
Ability to implement various learning styles
Ability to interpret and apply College goals, objectives, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully, both orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative-working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Ability to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, reading and writing, communicating with others, operating assigned equipment, and handling varied tasks simultaneously
Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include standing or sitting for extended periods of time, operating assigned equipment, handling varied tasks simultaneously, bending, stooping, climbing, or lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to maintain mental capacity, which allows the capability of making sound decisions, responding to questions, and demonstrating intellectual capabilities

Preferred

Degree majors in Education, Business, Computer Technology, or other closely related fields
Background in teaching and/or corporate training
