Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Workday integration projects, including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Manage integration architecture to align with evolving business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance) and external vendors to ensure successful delivery
Monitor and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance
Support Workday release cycles through regression testing and impact analysis
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and enforce integration standards
Mentor and guide integration developers and analysts
Drive continuous improvement in integration processes, tools, and methodologies
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership in integration and technical workstreams across 3+ HCM or Financials implementations, covering at least two phases
4–7 years of Workday integration development experience
Minimum 4 years of consulting experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or financial discipline, or equivalent work experience
Must have experience leading HCM/Financials integrations in Higher Education or Healthcare environments
Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments
Preferred
Current Workday certifications in Integration, Studio, and/or Orchestrate
Expertise in Workday tools: Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and BIRT. Experience with Orchestrate a plus
Strong proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and REST/SOAP web services
Familiarity with middleware platforms and programming languages such as Java or .NET
2+ years of experience in integration architecture and development using Workday Studio and related technologies
4+ years of experience in integration scope definition, problem-solving, and process improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build trust-based relationships
Experience in estimating, implementation planning, and project management
Ability to mentor and train staff in both technical and project management dimensions
Strong time-management and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies
Experience with tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Notepad++, and Oxygen XML Editor
