Responsibilities

Managing approx. 20-25 Material Review engineers
Task responsibilities may expand to add ADP teams locally and/or deployed teams in foreign nations depending on overall team global needs
Daily task coordination, technical reviews and guidance of work produced by the team
Interfacing with leadership on needs both locally and at remote sites
Maintaining strong relationships with customers
Maintaining staff forecasting, hiring or negotiating internal transfers, and deploying resources as necessary
Ensuring employees receive proper training and preparation for various assignments
Managing logistics for employee deployments/reassignments
Monitoring various performance metrics
Assisting with establishing and/or refining MRB processes and policy
Participating in hands-on evaluation of non-conformances on aircraft and components

Required

Managing approx. 20-25 Material Review engineers
Experience with F-35 edge production
Experience with F-22 Field component repair
Experience with F-35 Flight Test
Experience with U2 Periodic Depot Maintenance
Support the dispositioning of non-conforming material
Managing dispositions of Customer Repair Orders and spares
Daily task coordination
Technical reviews and guidance of work produced by the team
Interfacing with leadership on needs both locally and at remote sites
Maintaining strong relationships with customers
Maintaining staff forecasting
Hiring or negotiating internal transfers
Deploying resources as necessary
Ensuring employees receive proper training and preparation for various assignments
Managing logistics for employee deployments/reassignments
Monitoring various performance metrics
Assisting with establishing and/or refining MRB processes and policy
Ability to participate in hands-on evaluation of non-conformances on aircraft and components
Ability to climb, work in confined spaces, work under low surfaces and handle parts in a fast-paced production/depot environment
A level 5 employee typically has 8+ years of professional experience
Some off-shift, weekend, holiday work hours should be expected
Some travel required (annual travel: 3-4 times domestically, 1-2 times internationally)
