Mechanical Project Engineer II
CGI Inc. is a grassroots engineering and design firm with over 20 years of experience in heavy industrial plants. They are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer II to manage plant process design projects and coordinate with clients and design personnel.

Responsibilities
Communicating directly with client’s process engineers to obtain and track information needed for detailed design
Locate and interpret applicable design standards and specifications
Fundamental understanding of engineering subjects including piping stress analysis, fluid flow calculations, and preliminary structural calculations
Managing projects and design packages including process & instrument diagrams (P&IDs), civil, structural, and piping drawings
Coordinating and reviewing design packages with design personnel
Qualification
Required
2-5 years' experience in engineering projects
Strong mechanical aptitude and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
Working knowledge of MS Excel & MS Word
Team players, detail oriented, organized and self-driven
Preferred
Experience in process plants or heavy industrial construction
Working knowledge of process flow diagrams, piping & instrument diagrams, equipment arrangements, piping system design, and design specifications
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Strong consideration will be given to other degrees based on actual project experience
Experience with process plant design and typical construction methods
