Responsibilities
Answer team members’ calls for help
Restore process flow
Analyze data, process and production with leadership to support continuous improvement
Lead Changeovers and setup equipment for different product sizes
Troubleshoot, make adjustments and make minor mechanical repairs
Lead standardized work
Work with QA to ensure product meets quality standards
Train new operators
Solve problems (not to include grievances or discipline)
Maintain production and processes and visual displays
Fill in for problems, re-balance, absence, etc
Perform duties of the jobs in the team
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Safety - Understand and carry out oral instructions; read and carry out written instructions
Ability to retain and act on oral instructions
Ability to observe and read instruments gauges, dials and make adjustments
Ability to estimate size and quantity of objects
Ability to constantly observe for quality defects as well as subtle problems with machine
Ability to make simple arithmetic calculations
Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
Preferred
Experience with packaging lines, films, etc
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively
Demonstrated ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure
5+ years manufacturing experience
