Responsibilities

Directly manage a team of Territory Managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the achievement of sales targets and objectives
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive new business acquisition and market expansion within the region
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and key stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success, Account Management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management
Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team, ensuring continuous professional development
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field
10+ years of experience in medical device sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in selling into complex and disruptive environments
5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a regional or national sales management role
Strong understanding of the healthcare industry
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and exceed targets
Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed

Preferred

Advanced degree preferred
Prior experience selling into the ED and/or ICU
