CompassX Group is a boutique business and technology consulting firm that helps clients deliver strategic initiatives. They are seeking a Data Architect to design and build a modern, cloud-based data architecture that supports self-service analytics and Customer 360 experiences.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data models (star, snowflake, and semantic) to support analytics and Customer 360 use cases

Architect end-to-end pipelines and transformation frameworks leveraging dbt and Python

Define and maintain standards for self-service analytics, enabling business users through governed and reusable data assets

Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to align on data definitions, governance, and architecture best practices

Build and optimize data marts and semantic layers for downstream BI tools such as Power BI or Looker

Guide the design and delivery of a Customer 360 / Member 360 platform, integrating multiple data sources to deliver unified insights

Support cloud modernization efforts across Snowflake and BigQuery environments

Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices using Git and modern orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
