Spryder Technologies is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a trusted second-in-command for their operations. The Information Technology Operations Manager will take ownership of infrastructure, client systems, and internal operations while leading technical operations and managing cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Act as Operations Manager / Lead tech--owning escalations, infrastructure decisions, and client-facing solutions
Lead and support L2/3 technical operations across Active Directory, M365, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
Manage and improve cloud environments (Azure, M365), endpoint security, and backup systems
Oversee patching, firmware updates, and server/network health monitoring
Design and manage the implementation of infrastructure upgrades, network architecture, and wireless solutions
Document SOPs, deployment guides, and client-facing knowledge bases
Collaborate with vendors, manage tickets, and support project delivery

Required

At least 2 years in an MSP or multi-client environment
Strong background in systems engineering, virtualization, and cloud platforms
Experience with RMM tools, Intune, and automation tools
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and mentor junior staff

Preferred

Experience in public sector, healthcare, or nonprofit IT environments
