Responsibilities

Carry out integrated engineering processes to meet project goals and deadlines
Author and review designs, specifications, analyses, and drawings in line with engineering standards
Create and assess concept drawings for equipment using multidisciplinary input
Identify, define, and resolve issues within assigned scope
Ensure compliance with strict quality assurance standards and timely project delivery
Occasional travel required (less than 20%)

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year university
7–10+ years in commercial or DOE nuclear design
Proficient in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes
Skilled in engineering design principles (e.g., GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, interference checks)
Experienced in equipment design using industry codes
Familiar with creating P&ID, PFD, and general arrangement drawings for equipment packages
Proven ability to work with engineers and fabricators to develop designs and drawings
Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
