Responsibilities
The FNP/PA serves as an advanced practice nurse in the area of family or adult nursing working in direct patient care activities
Direct care functions include providing physical assessments, ordering labs, and other services
Indirect care functions include assuming role as a researcher, consultant, liaison, and educator
Prescriptive authority is accomplished through collaboration with a physician
Qualification
Required
Must be an Registered Nurse, licensed to practice in the State of Michigan, holding an active Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Specialty License
Or
Physician Assistant PA
Must meet and maintain credentialing requirements and maintain membership to Southridge Behavioral Hospital's Medical Staff
