Responsibilities
Safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
Sort, stack, and organize materials in designated storage areas
Ensure that materials are stored securely to prevent damage or accidents
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to identify discrepancies and investigate the root causes
Restock materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels
Pick materials and products from storage locations to fulfill customer orders or production demands
Pack and prepare materials for shipment, ensuring they are labeled correctly and securely packaged
Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to meet order deadlines
Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies upon receipt
Report any damaged or low-quality materials to supervisors
Ensure that materials are handled and stored in a manner that maintains their quality
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials
Report safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly
Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize safety risks
Conduct routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions
Ensure that equipment is used and stored properly to prolong its lifespan
Communicate effectively with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues
Report inventory discrepancies or shortages to appropriate personnel
Strive to improve warehouse efficiency by suggesting process enhancements or optimizations
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve productivity goals
Process RMA kits provided to customers for return of CPE items
Assist in the screen and clean process for returned CPE items
Other Duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional certifications)
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial
Knowledge of basic inventory management principles
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Safety-conscious with a commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols
Preferred
ERP or WMS experience is strongly preferred
