Responsibilities

Provide high-level project design and review of project documents and design quality for complex projects

Serve as a technical specialist, applying advanced engineering concepts and developing approaches to solve complexities

Perform QA/QC and ensure delivery of completed designs meet quality standards and project objectives

Conduct research in areas of considerable scope and complexity

Guide and direct staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements

Work collaboratively to promote efficiencies and produce high quality work

Contribute to the development of standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team

Supervise and review technical assignments of less experienced staff

Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering

8 or more years of engineering experience

4 years of experience leading or mentoring

Experience in stormwater and water resources

Ability to represent Olsson in a professional manner at all times

Preferred

Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, master planning, stream restoration, dam/levee design, construction observation, or stormwater design is a plus
