Regional Sales Manager-Powergrid
Interstate Wire Co., Inc. is revolutionizing the wire and cable industry and is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. This role is pivotal in driving growth in traditional power grid markets and emerging renewable energy sectors, focusing on sales performance and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
Meet or exceed annual sales and EBITDA goals across both power grid and renewable energy sectors
Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including utilities, EPCs, developers, and technical stakeholders
Develop and execute territory-specific go-to-market strategies, including SWOT analysis and strategic account planning
Drive brand awareness and specification adoption of Copperweld products in renewable energy projects such as solar farms, wind installations, and battery storage systems
Identify and convert opportunities with key accounts in both traditional and renewable markets
Cultivate strategic partnerships with distributors and channel partners to expand Copperweld’s reach
Represent Copperweld at industry trade shows, conferences, and technical forums—serving as a speaker or contributor where applicable
Stay current on industry standards, codes, and trends relevant to both power grid and renewable energy applications
Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives

Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
5–10+ years of experience in wire and cable sales
Experience in manufacturing or distribution sales within the utility or energy sectors
Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Analytical and creative mindset with a high attention to detail and adaptability
Ability to plan, organize, and collaborate cross-functionally
CRM experience required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Exposure to renewable energy or utility infrastructure strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and ERP systems strongly preferred
