Responsibilities

Drive the strategic roadmap for AI, ML, and generative AI initiatives across the organization. Focus on high-impact opportunities that align with business goals and deliver measurable value

Cultivate and lead high-performing, remote-first data science teams. Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning across distributed environments

Design and implement advanced AI solutions using LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance automation, threat detection, and predictive analytics

Ensure robust, secure, and scalable deployment of AI models across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using modern MLOps practices

Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Business teams to integrate AI into products and workflows, solving real-world challenges

Engage with external AI communities, academic institutions, and industry leaders to position the company at the forefront of innovation

Implement governance frameworks that ensure ethical AI development, including bias mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance

Required

Over 10 years of experience in data science, AI, or related fields, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles

A proven ability to scale teams and deliver enterprise AI solutions, with a strong track record of managing remote senior-level data scientists

Deep technical expertise in Python, ML frameworks, big data technologies (Spark, Kafka), and cloud-native AI deployment

Strong proficiency in LLMs, NLP, and neural networks

Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable AI strategies

Experience leading transformation initiatives through data-driven decision-making and innovation

Experience deploying models in cloud environments using MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, CI/CD pipelines), and managing containerized workflows with Docker and Kubernetes

Domain knowledge in networking, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure

Insights from experience in threat intelligence or secure networking

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

Clear communication of technical concepts to executive stakeholders and the ability to influence strategic decisions across the organization

A track record of delivering innovative AI solutions from concept to production, consistently achieving measurable business impact

Preferred

Master's or Ph.D. in a related field
