Responsibilities

Receives instruction in Pharmacy practice, fills prescriptions and dispenses medication in accordance with prescribed procedures

Assists in par-stocking of I.V. additives or unit dose program, and in interpreting Physician’s original drug orders

Compounds, manufactures and stores drugs and pharmaceuticals in accordance with good manufacturing practice and standard procedures

Assists in inspections of medicine stations and drug refrigerators

Maintains appropriate records

Performs related work as required
