Responsibilities
Land development and civil engineering design of various types of projects with the Federal Government (NASA and Department of Defense), and commercial Aerospace companies
Usage of AutoCAD and Civil 3D for civil drafting and design: Design of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, paving, and grading improvements for the project
Design grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, and roadways
Review and/or approve conceptual and detailed engineering design packages
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7 years of civil design experience, specifically civil site design and preparing construction plans including roadway, site, drainage, and utility plan preparation
Ability to prepare 3D models and layouts from design concepts using AutoCAD Civil 3D, with MicroStation and ARCGIS knowledge a plus
Ability to read and interpret engineering construction drawings
Preferred
Field inspection and construction management to assist the Construction Services Team is a plus
