Responsibilities
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable conditions and minimize risks
Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess vendor performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in vendor relationships and develop mitigation strategies
Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or service
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, engineering, legal, and finance to ensure alignment and smooth operations
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance vendor management efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
10+ years experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles, ideally in the tech industry
5+ years managing direct reports
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with vendor management software and tools
