Responsibilities

Corporate Action Processing: Monitor, review, and process all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions—mergers, splits, rights issues, tender offers, warrants—from announcement through completion
Income Events: Oversee dividends, interest, and related payments; ensure proper withholding, tax treatment, and cost-basis adjustments
Event Lifecycle Management: Manage announcements, options, elections, allocations, entitlements, and reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
Client & Custodian Coordination: Communicate voluntary event details, collect instructions, and submit elections via custodians, DTCC PBS/CA Web/AIP, or proxy agents within deadlines
Controls & Exception Management: Implement and monitor maker-checker controls, exception dashboards, KPIs, and audit-ready evidence
Automation & Modernization: Partner with Product and Engineering to streamline workflows, UAT new builds, and drive straight-through processing (STP)
Risk Management: Identify, escalate, and resolve discrepancies; ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Knowledge Management: Build and maintain robust process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to support scalability and training
Vendor & System Ownership: Manage key vendor and platform relationships (DTCC, proxy vendors, custodians), and contribute to platform enhancements (FIS, XSP/Phase3, AIP)

Required

3+ years of experience working in brokerage, clearing, or custody operations focused on corporate actions, dividends, or income processing
Strong working knowledge of DTCC PBS
Deep understanding of mandatory and voluntary event types, timelines, market standards, and tax/cost-basis implications
Ideally looking for a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Series 7 required; Series 24 preferred (or ability to obtain)

Preferred

Hands-on experience with FIS and XSP (Phase3/XSP CA platform) strongly preferred
Experience with alternatives or OCC option adjustments a plus
