Business Development Director
IDHL is a leading digital agency in Europe, now expanding into the US market. The Business Development Director will be crucial in driving commercial growth, building relationships with brands and partners, and shaping the sales strategy as the company scales in the US.
Responsibilities
Lead the identification and closure of new business opportunities to exceed sales targets
Own and grow the US sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and some inbound activity
Conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with senior stakeholders, presenting tailored solutions
Develop compelling proposals and presentations that reflect our strategic value
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions and long-term success
Stay ahead of industry trends to inform outreach and positioning
Qualification
Required
Extensive B2B sales experience, ideally within a digital agency or marketing agency
Proven success selling SEO, PPC, or broader digital marketing services
Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and maximise opportunities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
Passion for digital marketing solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
