Responsibilities

Participating in business development activities to grow the low voltage telecommunications team at Lighthouse Electric

Perform site visits for data collection and evaluation of telecommunications and building technologies systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes

Required

Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification (A MUST), in good standing

Knowledge of structured cabling systems from an installation and basic design perspective

Up to date on codes and technologies appropriate to the telecommunications and building technologies and design/construction industry

In depth knowledge of structured copper and fiber optic cabling (voice & data)

Familiarity with network topologies, and IP network protocols preferred

3+ years of relevant RCDD experience

Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
