Responsibilities
Supports Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement consultants in servicing prospects and assigned accounts
Verifies accuracy of insurance documentation
Completes data collection, entry and preparation
Completes analytical reports and provides entry-level analysis of data
Prepares draft proposals, submissions and comparisons
Follows up with insurance carriers and underwriters on outstanding quotes
Reviews insurance binders for accuracy and completeness.Assists clients with onboarding of client portal Risk Management systems
Gathers quote information, comparison of terms & conditions, and marketing summary to provide to account management teams
Gathers data and runs models for Casualty and Property teams (i.e. Loss Forecasts, Loss Stratifications, Loss Development Factors (Triangles), Collateral; Premium Allocation; Catastrophe modeling)
Assists Claims consultant with reporting of complex claims
Prepares Loss Trend Report and Claims Detail Reports
Qualification
Required
1-2 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency
Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty insurance license
Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Must have a capacity for analytical thinking and strong organizational skills
Develops property and casualty knowledge and skillset
