CANPACK Group is seeking a Spray Necker Technician to ensure spray and/or necker machines operate efficiently within quality specifications. The role involves assisting with machine operation, performing maintenance and repairs, and conducting routine quality checks during production.

Responsibilities

Assist with operation of spray and/or necker equipment while maintaining quality standards

Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan

Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs)

Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies. Assist Spray/Necker Specialist with repair of defective parts

Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production

Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role

Required

Ensure spray and/or necker machines are operating at peak efficiency within quality specifications

Assist with operation of spray and/or necker equipment while maintaining quality standards

Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan

Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs)

Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies. Assist Spray/Necker Specialist with repair of defective parts

Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Problem solving skills

Ability to work independently or as a team

Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations

Preferred

Engineering or Technical Degree preferred

1-3 years' experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred

Self-motivated with high attention to detail preferred

Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred
