Project Engineer (Electrical)

They are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer who will provide technical support to project teams, manage project documents, and assist in planning and logistics while ensuring safety policies are implemented.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support to a project team to expose, track, resolve, and notate project issues
Manage all project documents through the document control team
Process and track submittals and RFI’s
Assist in the coordination of planning and fabrication activities
Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of quotations
Maintain project schedule via the Enterprise Scheduling Department
Prepare and issue meeting minutes
Assist with planning and managing site logistics
Implement corporate safety policies on jobsite
Receive, review, and evaluate subcontractor quotations
Assist in the tracking of change orders and cost management
Manage plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities
Process new hire documents and verify accuracy of the site payroll submission
Participate in a culture of continuous learning, training, and skill development
Ability to travel and/or temporarily relocate based on project needs
Willingness to work in both office and on-site environments
Perform tasks at the discretion of the project management team
Qualification
Required
Experience working with a self-performing contractor
Construction experience in a multi trade environment
Ability to perform the following tasks: Provide technical support to a project team to expose, track, resolve, and notate project issues
Manage all project documents through the document control team

Assist in the coordination of planning and fabrication activities

Preferred
One to three (1-3) years of relevant construction experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred, or a technical college degree with two (2) years construction experience
Data Center, Healthcare, Automotive, and/or Light Industrial experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude with an aptitude for proactive and team-oriented problem solving
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related construction software
