Responsibilities
Receive intensive training and career development from a structured, 18-month curriculum
Gain practical experience helping local employers with their insurance needs with mentorship support
Learn the USI process, foundational insurance coverages, program design, and risk management strategies
Prepare for obtaining your brokers’ license
Understand the role of an insurance broker and current industry challenges
Develop effective negotiation and client-advocacy skills
Provide proactive, consultative service
Participate in training sessions and practical hands-on work experience
Engage in job shadowing and industry best practices
Manage risk projects and participate in above and beyond assignments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree achieved between Spring '25 - Spring '26
Commitment to continuous learning and development
Strong organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
