Responsibilities

Manage and develop operations across underwriting, retention, account management, systems support, technical resources, training, and customer service teams

Develop and execute comprehensive retention strategies to support the division’s financial growth objectives

Partner with the Chief Underwriting Officer to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including licensing, E&S filings, and carrier contracts

Collaborate with division leadership to develop and manage the annual department budget, aligning with new business, retention, and staffing goals

Work closely with HR, finance, and other stakeholders to recommend staffing solutions that meet operational needs and staffing targets

Identify and implement continuous operational improvements to enhance client, customer, and broker retention, as well as support new business growth

Establish and enforce standard operating processes, practices, goals, and procedures across the Programs division

Define and monitor operational goals, targets, and KPIs. Ensure accountability and alignment with strategic goals

Manage and execute the renewal solicitation process across the Programs division. Improve retention through targeted strategies, expanded product offerings, and performance tracking

Collaborate with leadership to improve submit/quote/bind metrics, staff productivity, and overall operational efficiency

Partner with Internal Audit and the Chief Underwriting Officer to drive audit improvements, coordinating with internal and external audit teams as needed

Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform strategic decisions
