Workforce Solutions and Total Rewards Sales Associate

Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workforce Solutions and Total Rewards Sales Associate to join their sales team. This role is critical in driving the growth of Total Rewards Products and Services by supporting the acquisition and development of net-new Mid-market clients within a focused territory.

Responsibilities

Prospect and generate new client leads through targeted email campaigns, phone outreach, and in-person visits
Manage and develop self-generated sales opportunities as well as leads from Sales Professionals and Lead Generation teams
Participate actively in proposal development, negotiation, and closing of deals related to Total Rewards Products and Services
Collaborate closely with Sales Professionals to educate clients on a broad range of workforce solutions beyond Total Rewards offerings
Build and maintain strong client relationships to maximize lifetime revenue and ensure client satisfaction

Required

Proven experience in sales, preferably in Total Rewards, HR solutions, or related fields
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients effectively
Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to prospect and close sales independently
Ability to work collaboratively within a sales team environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience working specifically with mid-market clients and understanding their unique needs
Familiarity with comprehensive workforce solutions beyond Total Rewards offerings
A proactive approach to identifying and nurturing sales opportunities
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing complex deals
Ability to build long-term client relationships that drive sustained revenue growth
