They are seeking a dedicated Security Consultant specializing in compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 to join their Advisory team, where the consultant will work hands-on with clients to enhance their cybersecurity programs and guide them through security assessments.

Responsibilities

Develop customized security policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and client-specific needs

Guide clients through the entire security assessment process, from initial readiness to final certification for frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and more

Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations tailored to both technical and executive levels

Work with clients on a recurring basis to ensure continuous security compliance and program maturity

Offer expert consulting on information security and maintain best practices across diverse industry frameworks

Mentor junior consultants through the ACTIVECYBER Mentor Program, fostering a culture of growth and excellence

Oversee project management tasks for engagements, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting

Required

Candidate must be a US Citizen

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience

Minimum 5+ years of information system consulting and/or audit experience

Certified ISO Lead Auditor in any of the following certifications ISO 27701, 27001, 42001, 22301 required

Effectively communicates technical and nontechnical concepts to a variety of audiences

Communicates well with client technical staff and management

Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills: multitasking, working individually and with a team, having a positive attitude, being self-motivated and reliable, being trustworthy, having strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office

Excellent written communication skills

Ability to work independently and lead small teams internally, whether on-site or remotely
