Responsibilities

End-to-End Algorithm Ownership: Take charge of the entire algorithm lifecycle, from problem definition and solution design to experimental validation and live deployment

Technical Leadership & System Architecture: Lead the charge on critical technical challenges, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high availability and scalability

Data-Driven Optimization & Innovation: Continuously enhance the monetization efficiency and user experience of our advertising system through sophisticated data analysis and algorithmic innovation, focusing on model inference performance and monitoring systems

Proactive Problem Solving: Actively identify latent issues and optimization opportunities within the ad delivery ecosystem. Champion technical discussions and pioneer the application of new technologies

Business-to-Technology Translation: Deeply understand business needs and rapidly translate them into clear, executable technical plans, driving them to completion

Mentorship & Elevation: Act as a technical mentor for the team, elevating overall technical prowess through code reviews, technical sharings, and leading by example

Technology Evangelism: Maintain a keen sense of industry trends, introducing and implementing new technologies and ideas to foster a culture of continuous innovation within the team

Required

5+ years of hands-on, frontline experience in a relevant field

Bachelor's degree from a top university or a QS Top 100 institution

Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C++)

Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking

Experience with large-scale, successful projects, particularly in a technical leadership or core contributor capacity

Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, with practical experience in leading-edge technologies such as Cloud Computing, LLMs, and Agentic AI

Proven experience in holistically optimizing advertising systems

3+ years of practical experience with sample spaces, feature design, and model architecture

Hands-on experience with RTB strategy (e.g., cold start, budget pacing, model calibration, bidding strategies)

A habit of using logical deduction over pure reliance on experience when designing solutions

A relentless pursuit of technical and business excellence

Ability to perform clear system abstraction and logical reasoning, designing robust and scalable solutions

Highly motivated and proactive

Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

A background in foundational disciplines (Architecture, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science)

Background in generative recommendation/LLMs
