They are seeking a Commercial Lines Team Leader who will manage operational activities of a team of Account Management professionals and serve as a Senior Account Manager for mid-to-large sized Commercial Lines clients.

Responsibilities

Responsible for full-cycle management and development of two or more employees

Provide strong insurance technical expertise to clients and members of the Account Management and Sales Executive team

Act as Account Management team escalation point for complex client issues and question

Lead regular team meetings with Account Management and Sales Executive staff

Partner with Commercial Lines Manager in support of company operational objectives

Respond to client requests for information, documents, and general insurance inquiries. Handle all aspects of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance. Occasional outside service visits, to the client, may be required

Manage team quality control of client renewals, ensure adherence to service standards and perform periodic quality audits

Direct team support work to Account Representative team members

If also directly managing clients, provide proactive, personalized support to assigned accounts, including:

Marketing and placement of renewals

Negotiating with carriers on behalf of clients

Processing policies, endorsements and audits as needed

Representing client interests in internal strategy meetings

Maintain high degree of accuracy in agency management systems

Responding to underwriters’ questions in a timely manner
