Senior Human Resources Director

The Senior Human Resources Director will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies, overseeing core HR functions, and partnering with senior leadership to enhance organizational capabilities and employee experiences.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute HR plans aligned to business goals and organizational growth
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational structure
Translate business priorities into practical HR programs, policies, and initiatives
Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain high-quality talent
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
Manage performance review cycles, goal setting, and employee development processes
Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives
Build strong working relationships across the organization
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance coaching, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
Promote employee engagement strategies that foster a positive and inclusive culture
Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices
Partner with Finance on workforce planning and HR budgeting
Support annual merit, variable pay, and benefits renewal cycles
Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain HR policies, handbook, and documentation
Oversee employee investigations and maintain confidentiality and fairness
Manage HR systems, employee data, reporting, and analytics
Continually identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
Ensure HR practices scale effectively with organizational growth
Lead and develop HR team members
Foster an HR culture of service delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support organizational change initiatives, including process updates, restructuring, and cultural initiatives
Communicate effectively with employees regarding change impacts and timelines
Assist with annual budgeting for HR initiatives
Participate in company committees and projects as needed
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience
Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and verbal, is required
Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to connect HR strategy to organizational performance
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required
High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness
Expertise in global employment law, HR technology, and people analytics is essential
Ability to drive innovation and change across a global organization
Preferred
A master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or Business is preferred
Professional certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent are highly desirable
Coaching certification is preferred
