The Continuous Improvement Intern will assist in developing training on lean and Six Sigma methodologies, participate in kaizen events, and contribute to data analysis while promoting a safety-first mentality.

Responsibilities

Assist in promoting a safety-first mentality in all improvement initiatives
Contribute to kaizen events and help document outcomes
Encourage team participation in CI activities and gather feedback on improvement suggestions
Learn and apply problem-solving tools and techniques (A3, DMAIC, PDCA) under guidance
Support cross-functional teams during improvement events and gather data for analysis
Assist in the implementation of CI tools, maintain documentation, and create visual aids
Aid in the identification of cost-saving opportunities and productivity enhancements
Participate in 5S initiatives and assist in maintaining organization standards
Help track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to daily performance
Take on special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by the CI team
