Senior Environmental Project Scientist
Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering and architectural design. They are seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Project Scientist to conduct environmental due diligence work, primarily including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and NEPA Review Reports. The role involves site visits, data analysis, report drafting, and conducting field work for environmental assessments.

Responsibilities
Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site (1-2 days per week)
Conducting interviews, analyzing government database records, performing regulatory agency file reviews; reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs); drafting a standardized report using information from these various sources
Perform QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients and completing requested revisions & submitting report within pre-established timelines
Applicant will also conduct field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air and then compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards

Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields

40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
Mold assessment/indoor air quality (IAQ) experience
Licensed Asbestos/Lead-based paint Inspector
Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528)
Property Condition Assessments (ASTM E2018)
Record Search with Risk Assessments (SBA SOP 50 10 6)
