Renewal Support Specialist - IBM

Responsibilities

Quote transactional renewals and respond to inquiries from sales regarding expiring contracts
Consult with sales to prepare renewal quotes and identify upselling opportunities
Build and maintain business relationships with sales teams and partner contacts
Attend partner-specific and renewal-related training sessions
Collaborate with Product Specialists and partners to support sales efforts
Maintain responsiveness to sales and customer needs, including customer-facing interactions
Participate in external training and conferences (with manager approval)
Support renewal operations by managing quote preparation and pipeline tracking, and process improvement initiatives
Embrace AI tools and technologies to enhance renewal support workflows

Required

Bachelor's Degree, OR
4 years of experience in Renewal Support, Sales Support, or a related customer-facing role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or quoting tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer facing experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Time-management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work under pressure and frequent interruptions
Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
Ability to understand and apply written and verbal instructions
Demonstrated adaptability to change and openness to learning new tools and processes
Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn and apply AI in daily work
