Responsibilities
Provide guidance and leadership to the IT Infrastructure and Technical Support teams at Foxconn, Ohio
Coordinate resources toward the goal of successful project implementation and system maintenance
Liaison is to facilitate communication between users, stakeholders, and the project team
Create project status progress reports and develop key insights presentations
Define and delegate critical milestones within Infrastructure and network functions
Competency plan for the scaling of the IT infrastructure
Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
Provide leadership and manage the work activities of direct reports in the area of application development for Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) and the applications that includes new solutions and enhancement of existing systems
Collaborate with business and key IT stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule network development and enhancement requests, while providing direction and guidance to the applications development staff
Accountable for availability and performance of applications portfolio, including ownership of incidents and release management
Drives stakeholder satisfaction by delivering quality applications and support with controlled and planned change management
Communicate project status to various levels of management
Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures
Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code
Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders
A passion for all things tech and a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business
An interest in staying hands-on technical as well as wearing that team management hat
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Industry standard technical certifications or equivalent field experience may substitute
7+ years of relevant work experience
Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, vendor management, and a strong business understanding
Experience in a management or supervisory role on an application delivery team
Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT systems across various technologies
Manufacturing experience is a plus
Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, and have strong reading comprehension and listening skills
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
