Responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert on accounting standards and compliance
Research and document complex accounting transactions and related impacts
Advise leadership on the accounting implications of business decisions
Draft technical accounting documentation and support audit requests
Evaluate and implement new accounting standards as needed
Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies and procedures
Review financial statements and external reporting for accuracy and compliance
Coordinate with external auditors during reviews and audits
Lead or assist with system enhancements and ERP improvements
Drive process improvement initiatives across accounting operations
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
