Outside Commercial Sales Representative

They are seeking an Outside Commercial Sales Representative to build relationships, uncover opportunities, and drive growth across their assigned territory while combining sales expertise with product knowledge and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

Grow your assigned territory by identifying, qualifying, and securing new commercial customers
Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize sales and satisfaction
Develop and execute account-specific action plans that align with business goals
Conduct outbound prospecting, including cold calls and in-person visits, to generate leads and new business
Prepare and present customized product and service proposals to meet customer needs
Collaborate with store teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer service
Reactivate inactive or lost accounts through proactive outreach and follow-up
Support the use of B2B ordering solutions to enhance customer efficiency
Review territory sales reports and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Partner with Accounts Receivable to assist with collection activities when needed
Maintain a strong understanding of competitor offerings and market trends

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct B2B or commercial sales
Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Strong analytical and organizational abilities with a results-driven mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within your assigned territory
