Responsibilities
Act as a liaison for Material Management and clinical areas to assure that the utilization of contracted products will deliver optimum clinical and financial outcomes
Engage providers and clinicians in value based variation reductions related to clinical practice, devices, products and supplies
Provide support for all clinical product committees and related functions of product evaluations, implementations and conversions
Identify and implement product standardization and total cost per unit reductions while continuously improving processes that support safe patient care and high quality outcomes
Qualification
Required
Surgical or Procedural Experience is REQUIRED
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, technology or related healthcare field or equivalent clinical experience
3-5 years relevant leadership experience coordinating teams and in a collaborative role with vendors and physicians
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence
Preferred
BSN, RT and Surgical or Procedural Services experience preferred
Analytical experience with knowledge of financial and accounting concepts preferred
