The Certified Pharmacy Technician will support the Compounding Pharmacist by performing clerical, customer service, and housekeeping duties to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
Cleans the pharmacy room according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Stocks the cleanroom with necessary supplies used in compounding
Monitors the usage of each drug. Stocks and maintains inventory for each drug
Reviews, documents and files prescriptions
Prints drug orders and makes logs for the ordered drugs which includes entering the prescription into the system, printing labels and attaching the labels to the drug products
May compound drugs under the supervision of the pharmacist
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school graduate
State of Ohio pharmacy technician certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date
A Pharmacy Technician license preferred
