Responsibilities
Lead and manage client engagements across tax and assurance services, serving as the primary relationship owner and advisor
Oversee preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and exempt organization tax returns, as well as audit, review, and compilation engagements
Analyze financial statements and business operations to identify improvements in tax efficiency, internal controls, and accounting processes
Coach, mentor, and train staff, providing technical guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities
Manage engagement budgets, workflow, and timelines to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction
Collaborate with firm leadership to drive client growth, retention, and operational excellence through business development and strategic planning
Qualification
Required
6+ years of public accounting experience with a mix of tax and assurance work
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting; CPA required (EA accepted for strong tax-focused candidates)
Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead/develop professional staff
Strong knowledge of GAAP, audit standards, and federal/state tax regulations
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Collaborative, growth-minded leader with an interest in diverse industries and continuous learning
