Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business strategies and achieving sales and service targets in the assigned territory, while building customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
Develop business plans to drive the results to achieve orders & sales & service goals for its assigned territory to support TMC’s business strategies and objectives. Drive year-over-year growth
Achieve budgeted orders & sales & service revenue set for its assigned territory
Responsible for identifying new customers in its assigned territory
Responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in its assigned territory
Develop key and strategic customer accounts in its assigned territory, obtain single source and major market share position, and drive year-over-year growth
Responsible for key and strategic customer accounts management in its assigned territory
Responsible to build customer relationships at all level
Report voice of customers to management team. Highlight the requirements of local market needs to grow TMC business
Build and maintain an active opportunity pipeline to support year-over-year growth in its assigned territory
Update CRM System (Salesforce) weekly with accurate and detailed information
Submit business forecast monthly and when required
Update management team with weekly reports when required
Responsible for business presentations to management team at sales meetings and when required
Responsible for business presentations at customers meetings, trade shows, seminars, and conferences, and when required
Attend meetings and conference calls when required
Provide market research, pricing analysis, competitive analysis regularly and when required
Support pricing strategies especially price increases and achieve the business goals while managing customers expectations and relationships with minimum disruptions
Ensure orders, contracts, purchase agreements, suppliers agreements, technical agreements, tender agreements, business transactions, distribution agreements met all AMETEK business compliance requirements, regulatory standards, AMETEK policy, and US laws and regulations
Work with all AMETEK colleagues to collaborate and win business for TMC
The assigned territories are Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas. The assigned territories might be modified based on business needs in the future
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years of experience in sales in a technology oriented organization
Highly organized, effective time management, prioritization and follow-up skills
A deal closer is a must!
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent presentations skills in English
Position demands extensive travel within its assigned territory, oversea travel is required when necessarily
Preferred
Undergraduate degree in engineering or other technical degree
Experience with Electron Microscopy, Life Science, Semiconductor, Vibration Control
Sales experience of capital equipment
A proven record of growing the business as a technical sales person
Understanding of marketing processes and activities such as market research, pricing, marketing communications, competitive analysis
Experience with Salesforce
