EHS Engineer Associate

Responsibilities
Lead EHS programs for assigned locations, serving as on-site tactical support and chairing safety committees
Conduct EHS risk assessments and complete Job Safety Analyses for new R&D equipment and processes
Perform incident investigations, including near misses and recordable injuries, using root cause analysis and corrective action plans
Ensure regulatory compliance, manage documentation, and maintain communication with government agencies
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and new hires to meet annual EHS performance targets
Implement industrial hygiene monitoring programs in accordance with Goodyear and government requirements
Qualification
Required
BS in Environmental, Safety, or Industrial Hygiene
Certification in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental disciplines
1-3 years industrial safety
Preferred
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazardous waste management, and safety compliance
Experience managing EHS programs and writing policies, programs, and SOPs
Familiarity with machine guarding, LOTO, MOC, and Safety Management Systems
Skilled in root cause analysis using 5 Why or Fishbone diagrams
