Responsibilities
Assist in expanding SMT’s transportation network, negotiating freight rates with carriers, and helping resolve logistical challenges alongside our traffic team
Work closely with traders to gain insight into trading strategy
Learn the ropes of building and maintaining customer relationships through prospecting, cold calling, and networking with potential clients
Qualification
Required
High energy with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to succeed
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with using tools like Excel, Word, and Google Docs
